Bobs Furniture
I would not buy a pack of gum from Bobs Furniture in the Inland Empire. The Store
Manager Eva has the worst customer service and follow-through of any manager that I have ever seen and I was in retail forty-five years in upper management.
I purchased a rug, recliner and protection plan and only took the rug from the store.
The very next day I returned the rug and cancelled the order. However, I was still charged for everything because the person in customer service (Ana) didn't know what she was doing.
Two days later on a Friday I went and talk to the Store Manager Eva and she could not correct the issue and since it was Friday she would have to contact corporate on Monday and would give me a call on Monday. She never called so on Tuesday I went to the store to see her and she was on a conference call and could not see me.
I tried contacting her several times and she never returned my call. I finally had to get in touch with Wells Fargo who Bobs uses for store accounts and they said she hadn't returned their calls either.
So I contacted Bob's Furniture Corporate Office and after a month it was finally taken care of and I got my refund after it reduced my credit score. If she had only taken care of it like she promised Wells Fargo Corporate, Bob's Furniture Corporate and my credit score would not have been involved or an issue!

Me and my partner bought this sofa sleeper and about almost $9,000 in Furniture starting out in our new home here in Maine as you can see the cushions only after 2 months are already wrinkling deforming and Mark has flipped the cushions several times and they are crap very cheap *** Furniture not even comfortable in fact The Rocker swivel recliner we bought doesn't even fit my back there's no lumbar support at all very uncomfortable I tried to call them at the store after having it only maybe 3 weeks Sat on it only two times and they said they wouldn't even take it back they are monsters there on top of that they were trying to charge us for two fireplace Entertainment Centers that were not even supposed to be on there our bill never were delivered THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CANCELED we told them we didn't want to wait 6 weeks we went to Big Lots and got our Own entertainment center fireplace on the spot Bobs they tried to charge us for two of those they also tried to charge this for the chase Lounge that went with the sofa which we didn't want because we chose to get the Ottoman storage footstool Furniture instead but they charges for that kit when we didn't even want the chase Lounge part of this sofa sleeper we actually upgraded and but they tried to charge us for something we never got then they tried to charge us for another power recliner that we never got a SEPERATE 2ND BILL of $738 I guess for a chair that we never got and it was supposed to been canceled then they tried to charge us for a pair of lamps that we never agreed to exchange for all was wrong with it was a switch was missing and I wasn't going to drive 2 hour drive to the store spend $80 in gas for a little switch that Twist on the lamps I asked them nicely just to send me a switch and I would be happy they threw a fit over that they were rude and nasty nobody could ever straighten the bill out there they acted stupid and all we wanted to do is pay our full balance off cuz it made my credit go down when they ran my credit for that stupid Wells Fargo credit line which I didn't even know they were going to do by the way there's such *** ups they also sent the first bill to my old address in Oregon when they delivered the furniture the two drivers couldn't even speak English were weird foreigners and Reckless and scratched our doors and they strip the screws as they were assembling the furniture in the house and they didn't clean up their mess to our New house we just bought in the state of Maine and I told him that's where our new house was NEW BILLING ADDRESS what the *** salesman sent it to are old Oregon address instead and got the bill lost and the payment late can they get any more stupider than that?
me and my partner had a horrible experience at Bob's Discount Furniture in Scarborough Maine they kept changing our bill charging us for stuff we never even ordered and customer service was absolutely horrible including the general manager Jese at the store was a complete *** .
Our family just went through a tragedy of a shooting grieving horribly she knew this Paul the manager at the Bangor store informed her what are situation was and she was rude and nasty to us anyway as soon as we stepped in the door she passed us off when we were specifically referred to her by another store manager Paul of Bangor Maine she was a complete *** very unprofessional uncaring unsympathetic that our family member was just murdered in the Lewiston Maine shootings we needed help to get into our house we already started the process CLOSING on house by Nov 16 before that even happened and she was just a nasty little ***
Since they couldn't get it the bill right over the phone we actually drove 2 hours just yesterday New Year's Eve to see her in person to try to get the bill straightened out she tried to avoid me when she seen me walk in the door she was talking about me to another sales rep when I approached her and she was rude right off the bat even though I was kind Pleasant professional to her she was a complete *** when I asked for a corrected bill she says oh we're too busy we can't help you with that well reluctantly she sat down with me and she was snotty to me the whole conversation then Mark walked in and she started going off on me and him and he put her in her place and then she told him he had to leave then she did it to me too and I called her out front of the entire store to everybody shopping there what a rude little *** she is how rotten the staff is they overcharging everybody and I said the furniture is crap too I screamed that you should go shop somewhere else as I was walking out the door I seen two customers just outside the front door and they said they had a horrible experience with the staff there too and how rude they were but I gave that little *** manager a piece of my mind before I left the store what a little *** you can't run a company like that you can't run a business like that and you have to sell a good product especially if you have that much inventory and that much staff your reputation is on the line and they blew it and I would never ever ever ever buy another product from Bob's Furniture again in fact it's garbage I would have been happy to get used quality American made furniture from a thrift store or an antique shop then deal with their crap and by the way a lot of their Furniture is just uncomfortable and ugly and cheep products OVERPRICED JUNKHORRIBLE STAFF,CRAP PRODUCT,OVERPRICED JUNK

I tried to report a huge stain on my table, and it kept getting denied, I didn't understand why. After being transferred and speaking to multiple people after a week, I finally got an answer as to why the claim didn't go through.
Apparently when I filed a claim for a broken chair I mentioned some minor stains, and they entered that in the report, but I was never compensated for it. Not only was I never compensated for it, I was never told I had to purchase another goof proof plan within 30 days of that filed claim. So now I'm stuck with a stained up table and two broken chairs. And I haven't had them for a full year.
The quality of the furniture is poor, my son, my husband, and I were hurt just sitting on one of the chairs. They are very flimsy and break easily. I will never purchase another item from this company again.
I will take my business elsewhere not just for the poor quality of the furniture but the negligence and lack of communication between customer service and customers. And just to clarify to all you negative Nancy's we are not overweight I'm 5' and weigh 130 lbs with clothes in so my weight is not a factory the furniture is horribly made.

Damage and Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service been waiting for replacement dresser since nov 27! I asked for credit or something for my suffering and No one Ramon or Vivian NOT doing there jobs!!
I paid for my bedroom set nov 11 it's Dec 9th and still getting the run around. Delivery drivers damaged the dresser .I'm requesting full refund of the delivery and I want the new dresser was promised delivery dec 8th..and no one came! When you call to talk to manager I'm told they will call bank because they are with customers.. Well what am I ?
You's got my $$ and my dresser that was damaged still not replaced!!
I suggest go to Raymour & Flanigam for better set ice..Bobs just stole my $$ and still had t replaced my dressers I called again Friday was told Vivian would call me back , ML CALL was ever heard from them. Ramon the supervisor I spoke to.om Tuesday night, still had t called me back

My wife has been getting the run around since Nov 4 about a couch repair. Couch has not been repaired. Technician came out, inspected and sent report to order parts.

Damaged furniture & lies
My first delivery- everything was damaged
2nd delivery - only 1 item exchanged because the "new" item was again damaged. Promised they would hand check by opening boxes at the warehouse before delivering another damaged table but I was lied to because on the 3rd attempt it was damaged upon opening the box right off the truck.
Even the delivery men were shocked. So customer service wanted me to try again after I was lied to and said I don't want it and now have to wait almost a week for them to take back the damaged table that has been sitting here for 2 weeks. Oh as well as being credited which will be another 2weeks after pick up.
Extremely disappointed in what this company has become. I do not recommend at all.

Poor service
When my original dining room set was delivered, there was damage. They said they would replace the table and have someone come out and fix the chairs.
A service person came to fix the chairs and he was literally here for two minutes saying that there wasnt anything wrong with the chairs and I had 30 days to let them know if I found anything else. Originally there were photos taken by the delivery people of where the damage was. Then they were supposed to replace the table and instead they came, and just replace the leaf. When I called about that, they told me they would give me another table.
But the person who came and replaced the leaf told my son that the tables are always damaged and Im not guaranteed. Im gonna get anything better than what I have. I dont feel that the customer service, or the service that was supposed to be done to my table and chairs was handled the correct way.
I finally decided to just cancel the new table and having anything repaired because I cant keep taking time off for them to not do the right thing. Its a shame because I already had picked out a bedroom set and a couch that I was going to be ordering in another month but since the service was so terrible, Im afraid to buy anything else
