Broken drawer on my dresser couches broken and dirty

I went to Bobs discount furniture I paid cash in full $3000 about for a love seat and a couch and two end tables since day one of the delivery it was wrong they forgot one couch they gave the same of two couches all the couches were messed up dirty ripped I did not want to take that told me to go through the insurance when it was a brand new couch they wanted me to contact goof proof it was ridiculous they are scammers and now coming out on the seventh to look at another couch that was delivered brand new and right from there

Smelly mattress and *** customer service

I had ordered a mattress for my son's first "big boy bed". The mattress was delivered and it smelled of horrible off gassing fumes, I mean so badly that it made my whole house smell like chemicals. I refused to let my three year old son sleep on that with these toxic fumes wafting in his face. I called Bob's to tell them about what was happening and figured that they have the 100 night trial and I should be able to exchange it, right? WRONG! They made me keep this horrible toxic smelling mattress in my home for 30 days before I could exchange or return it. My poor son had no bed and i didn't have the money to buy another mattress elsewhere in the meantime. So I waited the 30 says with this thing stinking out my house and finally the time was up. I called them to tell them I wanted my money back at this point because I was so pissed at them and how that handled my complaint. Then they had the nerve to tell me that I had to pay for one of their delivery people to pick the mattress up. I told them I would bring it myself to my nearest store. They told me I couldn't bring it to a store and that my only option was to pay for pickup. I argued with them that their return policy mentioned nothing about paying for pickup when my item was clearly within my 100 day trial period and threatened to contact my attorney. They finally then agreed to waive the pickup fee. I will NEVER, NEVER go back there for anything and will recommend to all of my friends and family and anyone reading this to STAY AWAY FROM BOB'S AND THEIR CROOKED BUSINESS PRACTICES!

They did send out a technician in late November 2019 and he bypassed the electrical box and said there was no resilience to both loveseat and sofa, according to the report we received. He stated the table was recalled due to the same problem I have.

He ordered an electrical cord as if that's going to fix the recliner?

It's sunk in just a the one in the loveseat. The report came back stating there isn't any resilience on any of them

I purchased my living room set sofa and love seat in 2017 along with $300 area rug, also a round Coffee table with 4 storage bins that are part of the table To begin the table had a spinning top which I don't understand what was the purpose of it? The table came off the pole that held table coffee top broke off I mean like I said I didn't understand the purpose if it, then both the sofa and love seat are made of the worst material I can think of "the salesman at the time said it was leather and made of good product" we paid over $4000 for everything, I've been calling since last year telling them that the table coffee top broken off and that they couldn't do anything because it was out of warranty when we paid for 5yrs of the protection they push on you to purchase because if something happens to it, it can be fixed, not what they said! They said it was out of warranty and to call another company that they'll be able to fix it, it's been 2yrs and I'm still waiting. The sofa electrical part to the recliner is no longer working, so I called about that it's been since early 2018 that I've been calling, and they're telling me that it out of warranty when I called it wasn't, now it's 2yrs and I'm frustrated and along with that I have cancer and lupus which means I can't do anything on my own any more I have some assisting me. I've explained to them that I've been in and out of the hospital since 2017 since I've been diagnosed going through surgery, then radiation and finally chemo. Now I'm back on chemo because of the lupus and I can't be under this kind of stress and that's all they're giving me is so much grief that all I can do it cry because they're heartless and rude with me on the phone. I'm exhausted from these people giving me the run around about the furniture that doesn't hold its name when it's being sold on television or in store. I need help with this issue I have 2 young ladies 14,18 and I need to at least be able to sit with them and have some good times before anything else happens to me and all these people at Bobs Discount Furniture care about is getting money from people and not taking care of their problems with their cheap furniture that is supposed to be leather and the best wood and excellent quality as they state but I can't-no longer fight alone I need help can someone please give me advice as to how to handle this. Awful bad upset

To whom ever will help me, I am sending you pictures of the way some of the damage happened at my house. This has been on going since beginning of July. You are not aware of my situation but my husband has Alzheimer’s n dementia n the start of Parkinson’s. This is the only reason we went looking for a couch n chair. One he could us with his hands. The one picture of the boy with the blue hat was the one left the couch laying in my closets door and against the front door and against the storm door. You can see part of his shoe where he was in the closet. The picture of the man with the orange shirt is my husband Ray going to help the other man get it back in the house. He had just gotten out of the hospital the week before and should not of had to do this at all. This is just a few pictures I have. I have done everything your people have ask me to do now we are in to 3 months. What’s the hold up now. They just don’t care, they don’t like us, they don’t have the money or the time to fix the damage?? What?? I thought I would get a call to me back on Tuesday October 8, 2019. Being I called customer service n they connected me to a person that I have talk to several times. I understand your people are busy but trust me I am too. Dealing my daily life isn’t easy. Now that they are not making the living room set that we chose we finally were told to come pick out another one. Little did I know that would be a embarrassment to me. Finally a hour latter I was told they gave us credit n I v could chose another set. But of course there was nothing there that my husband could use except one. But of course it cost me $600. Dollars more. I know this is nothing to you but it is a lot to me All I want is for you to ask Bob PLEASE to fix my house back, give me BACK ALL MY money and I will go somewhere else. I could go to odd lots and not have this kind of problems. Ask Bob to call me cone see me. I see now no one can afford to shop at Bobs discount furniture. I do not see and have not saw any discounts. I had to give more money to replace a couch and chair that my husband picked out. We didn’t know we would have all these problems. I am being out my time and my sanity trying to keep my husband Ray calm with this situation and his disease. He argues and get upset about this everyday. And my nerves are not the best. He can’t open the storm door and he gets upset. He looks at the damage he gets upset. I know that is part of the disease is being upset. But we cannot use the front door to go sit on our porch. He likes to sit on our porch and drink his coffee. We go out there and sit and he is calm for a while He gets upset because he has to use our backdoor and where he shakes a lot he spills the coffee on his clothes. I know I can pack it but I don’t want to take away all his normal stuff he used to be able to do well. What is taking them this long to fix this damage? What is the problem? I am not sure but I think i have been threw me to the back burner. Boy I am just so mad and upset. My husband wanted to go to lazy boy furniture store. But I said no let’s give Bobs a chance. It’s a new store in our neighborhood. Even with his disease he was smarter than me at that moment. Please tell Bob to call me. I have bought many pieces of furniture from Bob's including 3 mattresses. I purchased the goof proof on my Sofa sectional as well as.my Dining room table. The table I have had for 3 years and the couch 4 years. I placed a claim in 7 months ago for my chairs. The wood bars that hold the chair together kept coming loose and then finally snapped off, the cushion also lost its firmness in 2 of the chairs. I was.told.the goof proof covered such things when I purchased it however that was not the case when I placed the claim. Fast-forward to last week. I noticed a whole in my couch. Again told by the sales person that the goof proof covers accidents even if it was caused by a pet. We placed a claim and again not covered. Please tell.me exactly what they will cover because I can't seem to figure it out! Save your Money do not buy the goof proof!!! At this point I wouldn't even buy from Bob's since this is how they treat their loyal customers!!!!!te

I purchased a $200 carpet. They said it will be in the store in a week or so. I said ok. Then they said I could have the one on the wall. But when I got it home one end of it was damaged. I tried to reach the sales person but was unavailable. Then I called customer service and they said send pictures of it. They looked at it and said "We are very sorry to hear of the concerns with your furniture. Unfortunately, the concern you are reporting is not consistent with a factory defect covered under your manufacturing warranty due to there being no damages" .

Over charged

Acceptance now continues to debit my bank account for furniture I purchased at Bobs in Lowell ma, the final payment was in April, they took another payment on 5/2/20 and has one scheduled for5/30/20 also, I cannot get thru to them, please respond!!!

I waited a month for "white glove" delivery and bunk bed was installed shockingly bad for childen. Then had to wait longer for a repair (not replacement). The bed is still left with open screw holes and are apparently okay because the manufacturer makes it that way? So selling a hazardous bed is okay because they are made hazardous?

Rented a truck and drove to the warehouse in Taftville, CT and picked up my own furniture (sectional sofa and two accent chairs). All furniture was wrapped in heavy plastic and cardboard. When my son and myself (I'm a 60 yr old woman) unloaded the furniture at my home and carried it into the house, we soon realized that the warehouse did not give us any of the legs to the furniture - NONE - I called the store to complain and they immediately transferred my call to "Customer Care" - the cust care employee laughed at my situation and then said, "Sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but it is kinda funny that you are missing the legs", After putting me on hold nearly 20 mins, he told me that his supervisor will have the legs Fed-Ex to me and that I should receive them in about a week.. I told them that was unacceptable and asked them if they could have someone from the warehouse bring the legs to my house, they said no. They then offered to send a driver to my house with a replacement set of furniture that will include the legs. (Shaking my head with this type of logic!!!" I told them that it was not neccasary to replace my set, all I needed were the legs to the furniture, the rep further explained that they can not have the driver just deliver the legs. Giving into this obscure logic, I said, okay, when can I expect the driver at my house? He said that it would take about a week. OMG!!! Again, I stated that this was not acceptable or good customer service solution to a problem that was no fault of my own. That all I needed was the legs to my furniture. I told him that I would drive to the warehouse AGAIN and pick up the legs. He said that if I do, no one will be able to give me the legs, that my only options were to have them Fed-Ex 16 legs or have a driver bring another set of furniture (which is just plain stupid), that both options will make me wait another week, all the while my payments on this furniture begin from the time I picked up the furniture at the warehouse. SOOOOOoooooooo disappointed and disgusted by such poor practice of customer service. They lacked empathy (rep laughing at my situation), they lack the desire to make up for an error THEY made, and they lack common sense. I am writing here because apparently no one knows who the manager is at any of the locations, such a *** experience when it should have been a joyful one. I'll make my payments on the furniture and I will enjoy my furniture once I get the legs on it so it is not sitting on the floor. But I will also be sure to share this horrible experience to as many people as possible. Bob's Furniture fails miserably of simply doing the right thing...….Grade F
