The vinyl lower on my leather recliner love seat has become the laminated and an eyesore and has caused damage Leggings And hosiery . They are calling this normal wear and tear but in reality it is poor material, this piece of furniture is about a year and a half old with minimal use and is exhibiting this problem already , also no this was not their budget furniture line this was the best bobs best ii I paid good money for inferior quality , and they are refusing any help in this matter . My advice to all don’t ever buy furniture from Bob’s they will screw you in the End

Bad quality furniture. Their “top of the line”.

Is falling apart already with minimal use.

The vinyl attached to the leather is falling apart. Save your money and go to a different furniture store.

The mid wodden part of sofa is loose or cracked unknown . The part is internal so it cannot be fixed as per second tech. Their tech came twice both the answers were different.bobs customer service is so horrible they said it will not be covered under manufacture warranty. Which cannot be accepted. I also have their accidental damage warranty but when some problem is with manufacture they need to take care of that instead of telling customer to check with accidental warranty company

DONT WASTE MONEY AT BOBs

Sales was great - Customer Service is terrible and ruined sales - Furniture comes damaged. They don't honor the "white glove" delivery, My house was a disaster after they left, foam, scraps of boxes and random garbage from the packaging everywhere. When you have problems with your delivery, they promise fair compensation for their mistakes after all is corrected and delivered. My order was close to 11k. The "fair compensation" was $100 gift card to shop at Bobs. Refused to refund at least the delivery fee of $329. DO NOT WASTE TIME and MONEY with BOBs

Feel they are not in fault

My son bought a table a month ago, and he paid Bob's discount furniture to install, now that it's time for him to move, we go to take the table down, and the screws are stripped. We call them, and they say they are not responsible. They say the only way they would of fixed it, if we would of noticed the screws were stripped upon delivery. So now we have to go buy an tool in order to get the table out the house.

Wooden Desk Chair ARM CRACKED OFF

I CALLED BOB'S FURN. STORE IN LOMBARD ON ROOSEVELT RD.

ON OR ABOUT THE 8TH OF JAN, 2019 TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. THEY SENT A MAN OUT, SAW THE DAMAGE, AND SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE IN ACOUPLE OF WEEKS. I HAVE TALKED TO EVERYONE FROM BOTTOM TO TOP AND IT WILL BE THERE BY THURS. (they did not say what month) I WENT INTO THE STORE ON MARCH 10, 2019 (MY BIRTHDAY) AND TOLD THEM I WISHED TO BUY A MONTIBELLO BLUESTONE DESK CHAIR W/ GRAY.

THEY TOOK ME UPSTAIRS AND SHOWED ME THE CHAIR, I ASKED IF WE COULD TRADE, THEY SAID MY ARM WAS COMING FROM THE FAR EAST, AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT.

IT IS NOW THE END OF MARCH, I COULD OF WENT OUT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER CHAIR FROM A DIFFERENT DEALER, AFTER I BOUGHT A BED AND MATTERSS, THREE END TABLES, THREE LAMBS ,CUDDLER CHAIR, A OMNI HAVANA RECLINER AND OF COURSE THE DESK AND MONTIBELLO CHAIR, I THINK THREE MONTHS, EVEN THE SLOWEST BOAT FROM THE FAR EAST SHOULD HAVE DOCKED. I ordered for the bed with a massage frame. 1st delivery i got box springs. Had to return for $109 delivery. Paid another $109 for delivery of another base & still got the wrong one. 2nd delivery was done with a frame but not the massage one I had requested. Now i need the massage frame & I cannot get anyone at bob's to complete my order. If it goes to 3 mths & i cannot get my massage frame I 'll opt out of the loan & inform Better business bureau. Thank you.

Bed bugs found in the boxspring of my bed... Bed was brought in July. 6 months later the box soring was infested. I found a few on my bed. I went t and bought products to kill, washed all the laundry, toels etc. I called an exterminator. No bed bugs in my home except in the box spring.... I calked Bibs customer 2 hrs on hold and the rudest people ever... They also have an internal report that the customer does not receive. I will never ever buy again and will kake sure that everyone I know and more wilo be told

All my furniture from them fell apart. They give you the run around between goof proof that's a joke and Bob's that's a even bigger joke. The techs they send out doesn't know the difference between a manufacturer defect and a bed that's broke due to accidental damage. They come out, snap pictures and leave if they even come out. They say the address is not found. Their techs are dumb as *** I've complaint, filed claims and they say the tech wrote it's not a manufacturer defect. The furniture in their store they make but say we don't have any replacement parts. Why not if Bob's is the manufacturer. Stop giving them your money because you're saving alittle because the money you spend on replacing your items will cost you more than if you just went somewhere else.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Tried calling the Corporate Office in regard to speaking to a Higher Up after numerous calls to Customer Service with no results. Getting a run around for weeks about credit due on damaged furniture and being told it would be resolved in 1/2 Business Days. After calling Corporate it said after listening to the prompts to press 0 to speak with an operator, Pressed 0 and was told this was not a good function. What kind of business when you speak with a actual person tells you I can only send a email and it will take 1/2 more Business days to get an answer.

I will add to this that this is far and away a huge scam. I spent thousands of dollars on a leather couch that 2 years later started fading away in multiple spots. After reporting this to Bob's they sent someone to my house and I was told that the sun may have caused this which is not covered under the warranty! Yes the sun in the sky came through my living room walls (I had one small window where the couches are) and faded the couch. Funny I don't remember the sales people telling me this when they sold me the furniture. I am not someone who spends time going online and bashing companies but this is ridiculous. The will not let you escalate the problem and told me that I needed to get over this as it's normal wear and tear. Thank you Rebecca B for being useless and providing zero customer service. Thank you Bob's for teaching me a lesson to buy all of my future furniture elsewhere.

Warranty issues

I normally have had good experiences working with Bob's Discount Furniture and have even referred many family members to them. I purchased a power reclining love seat Dec 7 2018 as well as their "Goof Proof" protection plan. I noticed yesterday that there are small tears in the fabric where the thread is. They're about .25 - .5 inches wide and there are about 4-5 of them. When I called Bob's, I was told I was just outside of my 1 year manufacturer warranty but fortunately I purchased their goof proof plan so I would have to contact Guardian (the company that services this plan). I contacted Guardian and was told that the damage I described sounds like "stress tears" which is a manufacturer issue. Because I couldn't describe a specific accidental issue, and because it sounds like a manufacturer issue, they will not cover the ripped fabric. Obviously the tears weren't an act of God nor an intentional act. We BARELY sit on this couch and this should not be happening in a year. When I called Bob's back, I was told again that because I was 3 weeks outside of the warranty, they couldn't help me. There was also no use in paying for a tech to come out because the type of tears wouldn't be able to be repaired based on my description. The goof-proof warranty is a scam that covers nothing and with the issues I'm describing, Bob's should honor the warranty since this is clearly an issue of quality. I am devastated that no one is able to help me in this case, despite the extra money I spent paying for the protection plan.

After this posting Bob’s did not respond to you? Did they not do anything to assist “the customer” ? If this is so I am concerned about making a purchase from them.

They responded, they’re going to send someone this weekend to look at it to see if the tear can be repaired. I’ll keep you posted if you follow up with me in a week or so.

But my advice, read all the reviews. I would say you get what you pay for but I’ve owned better quality furniture for less money.

I know it's been a while since I've given and update but after they sent someone to my house, it was determined the repair couldn't be made. Which means I have to live with my *** ripped furniture.

Also, a friend of mine just purchased a dining set from there. The top layer started chipping after 3 months.

They wont even honor the manufacturing warranty. Unfortunately she didn't talk to me before buying.

Because of all the reviews I have read and the pattern of similar problems throughout all the reviews we have decided to purchase our furniture at a store that is more reputable in backing their products and warranties that they charge extra for!

Having a problem with replacement cushions. Have five cushions in my home all on except a bowl manufacturer defects. Reached out to Bob’s about 12 times still waiting for answers. Have a good proof but does not seem to help. I will never purchase another product from Bob’s again

I bought a bedroom set 2 yeara ago and bought the 5 yr extended warranty and they will not fix the bed which fell apart and is a piece of junk. They told me they will not honor the warranty that we broke the bed.

Delivery guy stole my ring

Can't believe Bob's discount furniture wouldn't do anything about this issue. The Delivery men you hired stole my wedding and engagement ring. You are one horrible company. We will never spend any time from your store ever. Karma will go to your business and to the guy who stole from us. We work hard and save a lot to get that ring. Shame on you.
