Class action SUit against Bobs Furniture
I have had a bad experience with Bob and their goof proof plan which seems to be useless. I have contacted 3 attorneys about starting a class action suit against Bobs. If anyone is interested in joining such a suit- no cost to you the lawyer files and you can be part of the action to collect damages- please keep an eye on this board - not sure when there will be a definite word but I am sure that an attorney will be interested in helping us consumers.

I COMPLETELY AGREE! I ordered a full mattress and a queen mattress set.
The guy I was working with submitted the order for the wrong mattresses. Then when I get them delivered and notice the difference i call and tell them my issue and they have the audacity to charge me for the delivery fee of my correct mattresses and to remove the wrong one. I have a delivery set and stoned for my new mattresses on 4/11. I waited ALL DAY!
I get a call at 6pm from the Bobs store near me saying they have rescheduled my delivery because the drivers couldn't find my house. I was livid! They drives never called me to ask me for directions, never called me to tell me they were lost. BOBS is a *** *** show!
On top of this miserable experience they are charging me for 4 pieces when I only ordered 3 pieces! I am waiting till my mattresses get delivered so I can call their billing department and have a word with them.
This is unbelievable and horribly irresponsible. I will NEVER do business with a Bobs Discount Furniture again!

I made the mistake of buying a power recliner from Bob's with their 5 year "goof proof" warranty. I was told that if I had any issues with the chair, they'd be taken care of.
I asked about the cushions, the motor/mechanism wear, structure, etc... I was told I'd have no worries, and that if they couldn't fix it, I would receive a gift card for the original purchase amount.
Well, fast-forward to the chair needing repair or replacement. The armrest is terribly uncomfortable, as the cushions are defective and hang over the side. But "they can't do anything about it." The motor/mechanism is also defective and needs to be replaced.
But they want me to pay for it.
Bob's a scam. Their employees lie to you to make a sale. They sell mediocre quality furniture, with B.S. warranties that aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
They don't stand behind their products, and once they get your money, they don't care about you either.
I'm hoping we can turn their warranty contract fraud into a class-action lawsuit. I'm sure I'm not the only one being burned by Bob's.

ONLINE ORDERING -- DON'T DO IT!!! Is all I can say.
Twice I ordered furniture only to have it canceled. The second time it was canceled, it was less than 24 hours prior to delivery. I had all the furniture removed from my 80 year old mother's house in preparation for the delivery. All they could say is, "Sorry but we can get you something else to be delivered in 3 WEEKS"...
SO my 80 year old mother is supposed to sit on the floor until then...
"Well it's only 3 weeks", they say!!! "That's the best we can do, it's our policy". Well guess what Bob to *** with your policy!!! No sense in me confirming the delivery 3 separate times only to be told there are no more in stock or it's damaged at the warehouse!
You're a furniture store! You can't find another sofa in your massive warehouse to send her!
I didn't care about the color or style, nothing but OH Well, but order online again and wait another 3 weeks... I guess the 3rd time is supposed to be a CHARM! Not in this case.
I'd be an idiot to do it again!
Bye BOB's. Never doing business again, and I will make sure everyone I come in contact with fully understands the same.

Bought a sectional leather starting to peel entire sofa changing color seams pulling apart...Bobs give consumers such a hard time they state send photos do this that & the third only to be denied of your claim. Not to mention we have the goof proof plan too!
“STAY AWAY FROM BOBS...WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS! Some of the representive are extremely nasty, ignorant, and not professional in the least.
Like the old saying goes...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! FYI...I RATHER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO “THE DUMP”...they stand behind their furniture 100%!!!

I agree with the above comments. My experience with Bob's Goof Proof is very similar.
It is a scam. The company behind Bob's Goof Proof, Guardian Products, is in a business of collecting premiums and rejecting claims. They are copying a scam shown in a movie "The Rainmaker" where the health insurance company collected premiums but rejected all claims. In the movie the company was forced out of business by a lawsuit, but we would need a class action to put Guardian out of business because individual premiums are to low to justify a law suit.
Bob's Furniture must be aware of the scam, but it is receiving a kickback from Guardian and is pushing this scam on it's customers.
No more buying from Bob's!!! What a rip off!!!

The furniture I bought three years ago has been falling apart since they were delivered. Horrible quality.
They never fixed anything and said it was too late. I asked for a refund on the Goof Proof scam and they refused.
I even contacted the BBB in Connecticut. How do I get into a class action suit?

I bought a couch set back in Dec 2016 I will say it was the worst set ever. Within less than 2 years pillows were ripping, the back of the couch was ripping, seat part cushions springs broke, and back pillows all ripped apart.
I never thought my couch would look like it’s 15 years old by 2+ years.
I didn’t bother with the good proof, due to the fact my last couch, it only covered one incident. Their furniture is poor quality and they deceive customers.
I would also like to join this class-action lawsuit! The ‘Goof-Proof’ warranty is simply a scam!
