Purchased furniture a few months back and there were problems from day 1. Seat cushions too big for love seat. A runner in the seat cushion on sofa. Legs on accent chair failing. Back cushions sagging. Broken staples under sofa, love seat and chair. Material on chair bottom coming undone. Received the wrong leg on chair. Getting the run around.

Horrible | Bobs Discount Furniture review

Both guys came in, one walked out to the truck came back in left both doors wide open and i had a 9 month old baby on the couch sleeping. They knew i had a baby sleeping on the couch. what if someone walked and stole the baby. Also what if i did not have my dog locked up in the kitchen. I would have had to go out and look for the dog with a 9 month old baby in the cold. I think when they go outside and come back into someones house they should close the doors so nobody comes in and steals anything. Also there was so many christmas presents too.

I purchased a coffee table and two end tables recently. The coffee table was supposed to come with four wheels; however, only three were in the box. The delivery people (3 seemed like too many) left a mess in my living room - packing material (tiny styrofoam pieces)everywhere. I was told that there would be an exchange for the table rather than just getting another wheel. This seems a bit crazy - wouldn't it be easier to just get the missing wheel? I called to explain my dissatisfaction and they didn't seem like it mattered. I recently called to schedule a delivery and since they made the mistake, I feel it should be done when it is convenient for me - which is a Saturday. I was told they can't do an exchange on a Saturday. Since I didn't want to get into an argument, I hung up. I am not satisfied with that answer and will not call to get the additional wheel. This will be the first and last time I purchase anything from Bob's.

I ordered a bed frame at the beginning of December 2017 and told it would be delivered a few days later. A day later I was called to say the bed was back ordered and I would have to wait for it to be back in stock which would have been two weeks later. Delivery was scheduled and the day of deliver window came and the truck never came, I was told by customer service the driver couldn’t get down my driveway, yet no one called me when the truck had arrived to say there was an issue. When I called Bobs they told me I would have to wait until the bed was received back to reschedule delivery. I was pretty frustrated at this point seeing as I had paid for the bed already and twice the delivery was cancelled. After numerous calls to customer service for a delivery credit it was denied, so I decided to visit the Seabrook NH store where I purchased the bed to see how it could be resolved. Well wouldn’t you know that when we tried to reschedule the bed I had already paid for I was told the bed frame was back ordered and I would have to wait until mid-January for delivery. Well I canceled the order and got a full refund and will never buy from Bob’s Discount Furniture again!

Sold me a broken couch | Bobs Discount Furniture review from Merrillville, Indiana

I bought a couch set in the back warehouse at the merrillville, indiana location. They pointed out a tear and the fact that the couches were mismatched (one electric the other manual). We chose to buy them anyways. What they did not tell us was that the couch had structural damage and was completely broken. They refused to give me my money back, a discount, or send a tech to fix it. We even offered to pay the tech and they told us no. All of the stuff we purchased was a final sale with no returns and no warrenty (with the understanding that all of the flaws and damage was pointed out prior to us purchasing the couch). No one told us that it was completely broken to the point where it could not be repaired. I had to pay 700 dolllars for a repair man from a couch repair company to fix it. Upon his investigation, he found that the couch had a shotty repair (like someone had already tampered with it and tried to fix it). There were non-manufactured boards and screws that were used to reinforce the structure which damaged the wood even further. Essentially, after it was all said and done, i still had to pay the repair man for labor, but he came to the conclusion that it was not fixable. Now i am in the hole 1500 dollars for a couch i cannot use. I understand the terms of final sale, but selling a couch with minor damage and notifying the consumer prior to purchasing is way different than selling a broken couch, possibly trying to cover it up, and not telling the consumer. I have contacted the store location and corporate several times and they pretty much told me that it was my fault for purchasing a broken couch and that i should have inspected it first. I am a consumer, not a sales person or a couch expert so it is not my reponsibility to make sure Bob's is not ripping off their customers.

2 years ago I bought all the furniture for my entire house, we had trouble with the chair they ask pictures and change it without a problem and now I had problems with my mattress they send a person to check if it was a problem witch they agree and they set up a credit for me, I went back to the store choose another matress and the person who helped me Katie Breininger probably will not make any money on the credit I had but she was so nice and professional we decide to buy another bed, Im very happy with Bob's.
