In September 2013 i have purchased a sofabed and a goof proof protection. After a few months my cushions stared to sink, I have called customer service they sent a technician and decided I need a new foam. The foam came after 6 weeks ( the same as the old one). After few months the same problem happened and the sofa stared making a terrible noise when I was sitting on it ( I am 120 lb living all by myself, working 10 hours a day and going to school - never home person). I called a customer service, the technician came, was surprises by the noise. Informed me that I will received a call from a customer service in 48 hours. After 4 days I had to called them and they are not able to do anything. They stated it is not a factory defect. The only resolution for me was purchasing a new cushions from them ( the same shipped from China) WHAT A JOKE. I cannot even describe how unhappy and angry I am. Wish to never purchased anything from them and recommended them to my friens. What a shame.

Your emotions are understandable, but it might be best to cut your losses and let it go. $4000 is a lot when you don't have much money, but...

she got TWO loveseats, kitchen table and chairs, a dresser, and TWO mattresses for 4k?? It was cheap discount furniture that isn't worth the time or money of "fixing."

As a gift I purchased the Caroline sofa set bedroom set for my son I paid over 4, on my vis delivery came and refused to go on the freight elevator so they pushed in up the stairs causing damage after calling customer care I got no where because the delivery men could not get it it so I contacted customer care several times I agreed to keep it and get back 700 which I feel should be the complete total for the couch now hey refused to put the money back on my Visa card I paid for it they are sending the check in my son name and he is out so state I was on the phone for 4 hours today and they would not help me at all I have bought other things but I will never go into that store again. I contacted the better business bureau and thy agreed the money should be returned to me and in the fill amount of the couch. Purchased a sofa set in Dec 2012, Now the sofas are turning in a redess color from top...Technically support came yesterday and said that this is manufactured deft. He took pictures and showed to thr manager and person Name Gloria the Head of Complaint department said that is because of the sun exposure. This is not true. I have goof proof plus.. why are we being treated like this. We need to know who else is out there that can help us. Either this product needs to get replaced or i want to return it because lack of communication between sales rep and customers. Call me at 201-658-8400

Why are you so sure it's not from sun exposure? Furniture does fade from that.

And what does the goof proof policy cover? People mention goof proof in all these complaints but no one seems to have an actual policy that can be read and quoted.

We ordered a living room set (Charlotte bonded leather set), and had it set for delivery. The delivery day rolls around and I call them since I had never gotten a phone call giving me my delivery window. Well, the oh so helpful customer service people told me that the delivery date was changed to 8 days later, and there was nothing they could do about it. Awesome. So I asked her what their policy was for compensation since I had taken a day off of work to stay home for our furniture to be delivered, and she told me...once the furniture is in your house you call us and we will discuss compensation. I said, ok, what's normal compensation. Well, she wasn't able to tell me that, so I said, would it cover the delivery fee that I was charged since someone screwed something up and we're not getting our furniture for when we thought we were. Her words, well, you get compensation in the form of a store credit. Super, so now I'm already pissed at them for messing up our delivery, and then they want to give me a store credit to a store I never want to deal with again? Which would probably only be like $25 or something. So I go into the store since I was so frustrated with the "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do" over the phone. I get there, I'm told that somehow my delivery all got changed (contrary to what my invoice says) and that my account was noted that they called and told me this. LIE! The woman finally agrees to refund me my money, because I am just done with this store and after reading all these other reviews we didn't want the furniture any more. So she tells me she has to call their accounting to get it released and it will take 10-15 minutes. I say ok, and sit down. I don't think she was expecting me to do that, I'm pretty sure she was thinking that I would just leave. So about 15 minutes later the girl that messed up the delivery date asks to speak with me and keeps asking what she can do so that i won't cancel this order. I tell her, nothing, our minds are made up, we're done. She keeps asking, I keep saying the same thing. FINALLY they print the refund papers, 25 minutes later, and I sign them. Next day I look online at our bank account and the money has been withdrawn again!!! I call the bank and they tell me that it was a purchase we made yesterday. I have been on the phone with Bob's now for 30 minutes explaining to them what the bank told me they have to do. I hate this company. Don't deal with them, it's a complete waste of time.

My name is john and I understand everybody's problems. My wife and I have bought furniture from bobs three different times from the store on route. 110 in farming dale and have never had any problems the furniture has stood up to four kids beating on it .

Bobs is robbing people by telling people to extend the warranty to 5 years, In fact they are lying to people there is no more that 1 year warranty on all there products. Don't let them sucker you in buying the 5 year warranty Bobs will never honor it I can say that for a fact.

Its a disturbing ordeal that after a few years when you have a problem and than find out you were suckered in buying useless warranty.

More people should get together and Have a Class Action Lawsuit against Bobs scamming people.

In July of last year i purchased a bed room set for my 15 year old daughter at bob furniture store .she was so excited it was her first brand new bedroom set. since then the bed has broken in the same spot 5 times. 5 times they sent someone to come and someone to come fix it . finally after giving me a credit towards getting a new bed we find out they no longer had the bed in stock . we had to get another bed .. at a different price and pay almost $200 out of pocket . On delivery day of our new bed we realized the box spring was fully broken wood off and everything from the previous damage on the other bed. now bobs is REFUSING to give me a new box spring. i am so disappointed and disgusted of the back and forth phone calls and aggravation . That their management staff has given me . i will NEVER EVER recommend or shop at this store again . please pass this on to friends and family they really are a RIP OFF .

no one writes about good experiences Just negative experiences..

Most of this is exaggerated or you had a sales rep who didn't explain properly . Take your negativity elsewhere .

So I bought the "Kendall sectional" from bobs and i was in love with it! Fast forward a year( keep in mind its only been a year) and its in shambles! the couch cushions deflated there is a tear on it ! so i went and called the warranty and they wont cover any of it! Such b.s. i will not stand for this i paid good money for this couch and now im just screwed... do not buy from there or be dazzled by this "so-called warranty! Theyre just out for money and are major scam artists! they lied to us and said "everything is covered" at the time of purchase.

Same thing happened to me, no coverage for a tear with goof proof. Then I go to order a replacement part and nearly two months after my first of at least ten phone calls and two in store visits, I get a phone call from a incompetent customer service representative who explains to me that they no longer make the couch and basically by a new one, while laughing at me on the phone. Go to another place, it may be a little more but it will last much longer.
