Details
I spent 4824 in living room set and 2 12" xl twin mattress with Adjustable base. Received delivery late on the 22nd. Even thou they were late they were very nice and set everything up. Since it was Thanksgiving weekend I waited until Monday to call about my mattress....

I purchased a coffee table and two end tables recently. The coffee table was supposed to come with four wheels; however, only three were in the box. The delivery people (3 seemed like too many) left a mess in my living room - packing material (tiny styrofoam pieces)everywhere. I was told that there would be an exchange for the table rather than just getting another wheel. This seems a bit crazy - wouldn't it be easier to just get the missing wheel? I called to explain my dissatisfaction and they didn't seem like it mattered. I recently called to schedule a delivery and since they made the mistake, I feel it should be done when it is convenient for me - which is a Saturday. I was told they can't do an exchange on a Saturday. Since I didn't want to get into an argument, I hung up. I am not satisfied with that answer and will not call to get the additional wheel. This will be the first and last time I purchase anything from Bob's.

So I purchased a three piece sectional on Sunday November 12, and specifically told the sales person I was looking to buy as long as the furniture was delivered before Thanksgiving. They gave me a delivery date of Friday November 17 and took the day off from work to make sure I was there. Well the text they send me said delivery between 3:30 to 7:30 and they came around 3:40 or so, but they brought me the wrong pieces. After speaking with Customer Care I explain to her that now they have to give me a time that would work for me since they screwed up the order. She gives me Tuesday the 21rst but says she cannot give me a delivery time, but that she will put in the request I gave her of anytime after 3:30. I get the text on Saturday that my furniture will be delivered between 3:15 and 7:00, well Tuesday come and I get a text at 11:00 am that the driver is 20 minutes away. Now I am calling Customer service again and they are telling me that they can only honor the time they have which says 2:15 to 6:15. So what the *** happened with the time they gave me on the text?? Customer Service and a Manager talks to me and says that is all they could do. So don't buy furniture from Bobs because their Customer Service and delivery sucks. They really are not there for the customer. They will not help even though they screwed up my order from the beginning. There is also no email to send a complaint.

Furniture delivered damaged and then you have to wait four+ days for re-delivery amd they want you to keep a part of it sitting at your home but then lie about tge delivery date. You take off because you're promised one date and when you call them .... you were never even scheduled for delivery at all. Now a wasted day and still no merchandise but the band aid is we can bring it a week later? Horrible!!! DON'T SHOP HERE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! THEY DON'T VALUE THE CUSTOMER OR THEIR PROMISES AT ALL!!

On Sept. 5th I opened an account with Bobs Discount Furniture in Farmingdale,N.Y. so I could furnish my daughter's new apartment in Yonkers for her Birthday which was Oct. 12th.We picked out a 3 piece sofa set which included (1) sofa,(1)loveseat & (1) ottoman which was a "special" order because the store didn't have gray fabric available.We were told her order would be delivered in a few weeks. I received a call that the furniture would be delivered on Sept. 28 . On that date only the sofa was delivered and we were told both pieces weren't available and would arrive on the 14th of October! Outraged My Daughter and I contacted Bob's and spoke to Management and all we got was shoulder shrug responses and apologies but no help. The 14th of October comes. The Loveseat arrives but no Ottoman. I am so done now. I call to complain and again apologies and was told the manufacturer had no ottomans available yet. A few days later,someone, a woman from Bob's called me to confirm a delivery date of Oct. 21st for the ottoman and I agree and call my Daughter because she now has to take off from work for the 2nd time for a scheduled delivery. So, Thursday Oct. 21st comes and goes and no delivery , no phone call, no compensation. I call Bob's Again to find out what the *** is going on and they have no idea who told me the 21st because it's not in their system. Finally on the 28th of October my Daughter's ottoman arrived. No one has even bothered to contact me to apologize or offer any kind of compensation. I had to ask. i was told by customer service they will grant a $125.00 credit to use in the store. I am a home owner that has purchased several rooms of furniture from other furniture stores. This has been the worst experience ever. I must inform you after the 2nd piece of furniture arrived , I was so frustrated I just wanted to return everything . I was told I could not return furniture once it's been delivered to your house. This company really had me at their Mercy. I will share my experience with any potential customer I know.

New leather dual powered couch recliner arrived defective. | Bobs Discount Furniture review

Purchased my couch 9/17. It arrived with only one recliner working. Customer service set me up with 2 ghost appointments meaning the day of the appt they dont show up. Their system shows i never had an appointment to have a tech come out eventhough i had an automated confirmation sent to my phone. Bobs Customer Service does not look out for the customers best interest. After 3 hrs of wrestling with customer service about sending out a tech, he finally came to confirm a manufacture defect. A part was ordered and i wss told it will take 2 1/2 months to be delievered to me and i would then have to call them back to have a tech sent out to replace the part. By the time the part arrives, it will be 4 1/2 months total one side of couch not in use. Tax included im paying over $1400 within 90 days. Within 90 days which will be in Decemember, i still wont have a fully functional sofa.

Furniture delivered broken and missing parts. Delivery guys promised someone would call with fix, 30 days later I had to call. They only come to my area on Fridays. Now I have to take an additional day off of work for them to come see what is wrong...and then another to get my furniture fixed after that. We will be 2 months into my VERY expensive furniture purchase before it will be corrected (if then!) WOULDN’T BUY THERE EVER AGAIN. Terrible customer service as well when you call!!!

I purchased a new style bedroom set and within months the drawers kept locking on me After several service techs I asked to exchange them due to faulty locking system Bobs told me they would only return one piece of the set- when three pieces have this locking system And why would I want a mismatched set After months they are no longer even selling this cabana set I wonder why? Because they know it's faulty and now whomever purchased it is stuck with drawers that do not open at any given time.
