I know the felling I will not shop there again. We bought a dinning room set the whole thing had to be replaced it was broken and all marked up. The second set need two chaise replaced as they were all marked up, now 3 1/2 months latter one of the chairs had the arm fall off,called to have it replaced,they said they would be out to pick it up and drop off the replacement, well two weeks later and many of phone calls we are still waiting for the replacement chair. Also ordered LR set for my moms new place, when it came in the mirrow in the coffee table was broke,they could not get them in and was told that they would not be selling that set anymore, well they still have them in the show!!! we hada to buy another which she don't like but it was the only ones she saw. Bob's service sucks and I would not tell anyone to go there.

My Advice..NEVER buy from Bob's!!!! Horrible Experience!! | Bobs Discount Furniture in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Well, I will just start by saying we had a HORRIBLE experience dealing with Bob's Discount Furniture (woodbridge,NJ). There was literally a problem at every turn, and though it was no fault of our own, Bob's took no responsibility for anything! i never write bad reviews but I am so beyond pissed. we ordered a dining table and chairs and a couch from Bob's. To make a long story short, they screwed up our delivery date and because of that, we lost our place in line for our table top(because everything is automated!!) . They wanted to send it to us 2 1/2 months after we ordered it(meanwhile it was in stock when we paid)!!!!! they ended up having to send us a temporary table for that time we didn't have the table we ordered(and we only got the temp. because we fought with them!). Then, the couch broke with in one week(they're furniture is so *** We had the Goof Proof insurance so they sent out a repair man who "fixed" it in 10 minutes and after he was gone we found about 50 staples just left all over the floor!!! And now the icing on the cake...Ever since we got the couch we have had mice!!!!! I am convinced 100% the mice came from the couch(warehouse where couch came from)!!!!! It has been a NIGHTMARE every step of the way!! Do yourself a favor and spend the little bit of extra $ and order from a more reputable furniture store!! Bob's is the WORST!!!!!!

Please do not buy anything from Bob's, we have paid for our furniture over 2 months ago and scheduled a delivery date of July 18 well that day came and nothing than they gave us another date which is today July 24 out of everything we bought we only received a coffee table and fireplace ,not the beds, kitchen table or cabinet that the fireplace goes in. Please do not buy anything from here i so want to go down there and demand my money back i'm sure i can go to any other furniture store pay for the furniture and have it delivered in a day or so. SO SAD DO NOT WASTE YOUR TUME IR MONEY NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!!

I noted that Bob's provided the least expensive furniture in the area. I am pleased with the chair I bought for its ability to help me out and up, when needed.

I am 100% disabled. However, the chair has some electrical issues and parts must be ordered. I requested it be returned and a new one delivered.

I requested a different technician be sent. The current tech is too surly and when asked why an electrical transformer box is unattached under the chair lying on the floor he stated that all electrical chairs are made in this manner.

Would not recommend anyone shopping from this company. We are currently on our 3rd attempt to get our dinning room table it has been damaged every time. If we take a discounted price and keep one of the damaged items it voids the protection plan on all items. Would give them negative stars if it were an option.

Horrible customer service horrible horrible protection that I've been paying for the furniture and the horrible service for the deliverySpace since November 2014 I've been trying to settle with the goof protection from Bob's furniture regarding one my dining table when they sell me the table I was told that if anything happen even if the item was discontinued they will replace everything and in case something happened to my table the protection refused to send a person to fix my table and now comes 2015 they never came to fix my table only gave me credit for the table not for the whole set or Get a $50 credit finally in April 2015 I was able to get a little more of the credit in the purses a new item wish it's been a month already that I've been waiting for the items to be delivered to me because the first item that that deliver they just drop it on my door told me they were going to come later to assemble they never came never or call and now it's a month later and I have a table that is burning damage in a new item I cannot even use!!!! And they can't accommodate me for an earlier delivery!! Bobs Furniture is horrible on all aspects

My boyfriend and I got our first apartment together and I purchased all of our furniture to furnish it from Bob's. I read all of the negative reviews but due to the amount of furniture we could get compared to the price, we decided to take the chance and go with them. We purchased a bedroom set (queen bed plus a mattress set, a dresser with mirror, a bureau, and a nightstand), a 6 piece sectional couch, a 7 piece dining room set, and a coffee table. Our lease started on a Friday so we scheduled for our furniture to be delivered on that day and planned the rest of our moving in over the next weekend days/around that delivery. Bob's claims that they call you 2 - 3 days ahead of time with the 4 hour delivery time frame. They never called me and when I called into Customer Care, 2 days before they were supposed to deliver, they told me that the delivery was not even scheduled and that it would be Monday at the earliest. After going back and forth with the Customer Care agent, she told me that someone from the store (Manchester, CT) would be contacting me with how things would proceed. The sales person at the store, who I set the delivery up with, called me back and assured me that the delivery would be on Friday but could not provide me with any time frame. I called Customer Care later that night to see about the delivery time frame and the agent assured me that the delivery would "definitely" be on Friday and to "keep checking" online for the time to be updated into their system. The next day (Thursday), I received an automated call with the time frame of delivery. It was set for 6:30 - 10:30 AM. I was not able to sleep in our apartment the night before delivery, as our lease did not start until the day we were having the delivery (Friday). I made sure to be at the apartment by 6:30 AM on Friday and continually tracked my delivery online through the Bob's Tracker. The time kept pushing back and finally, around 9:30 AM (THREE HOURS INTO THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD DELIVER) I received a call saying that the delivery would NOT be happening and they had to reschedule for the next day. The only reasoning she could provide me was that something "fell through" the DAY BEFORE! So, they admittedly knew the day before, that the delivery would not be happening, but did not call me until well into the delivery time frame to make me aware. The agent said that she would personally be following up after the delivery to ensure things went well and that I'd receive compensation for my inconvenience. I had already taken the day off of work and went down to the store where I had bought the furniture from (Manchester, CT) to speak to someone directly. I spoke with the manager there and explained my situation and he assured me that he would reach out to the delivery team and get me exact reasoning on what happened, get me a time for the next day delivery, and follow up regarding compensation for my inconvenience. He still showed that the delivery was scheduled for that day and he didn't understand what happened. He stated that he or one of his staff members would be following up with me that day in regards to what happened and the rescheduling. He also ensured that he would follow up after delivery to check that things went well and to discuss compensation for the inconveniences caused. I did not hear from him and when I called the store to follow up with him, he had left for the day, and had not delegated anything to his staff. They called Customer Care for me and stated the delivery was on schedule for 6:30 - 10:30 AM the next day. After sleeping on the floor that night, having no furniture in our apartment, the delivery team DID deliver on that Saturday, but did not come until around 11:30 AM/noon. Luckily, the delivery guys were very nice and did a good job, and none of the furniture was damaged. I never received any follow up calls to the delivery except for an AUTOMATED SURVEY call. I chose the option to have a Customer Care agent follow up with me and never heard from them. I called into Customer Care and they claimed none of the phone calls in my dealing with them had been documented. Of course not! The agent claimed that they do not offer compensation and he did not understand why people told me that as they do not typically offer anything. He stated that they went "above and beyond" to get my furniture to me for next day rescheduling and that "just does not happen." Basically, I should count myself lucky that I received my furniture the next day and that was enough to make up for all of the inconvenience caused. All the agents are "authorized" to offer is a $25 BOB'S GIFT CARD that would be mailed out! Why would anyone want a gift card to the place that has caused them such inconvenience and was so awful to deal with, they never want to deal with them again?!?! Not to mention, $25? REALLY?!?! After reading all of the other horrible reviews, I count myself lucky that I did receive my furniture after only one rescheduling, I received it all, and it was in good shape. However, needless to say, I will never be going to Bob's again and recommend the ample amount of other furniture stores over Bob's any day.
