Purchased a bed for son’s birthday in March. Delivered it with missing door and left a mess (popcorn, screws) EVERYWHERE. Spent 30 min on phone with customer service- because store has no communication with that dept. it is now almost June- ZERO contact from customer service- still waiting for part. After calling them YET again, they say it will be here in JULY. The worst furniture experience I have ever had. This place absolutely SUCKS.

Had the worse possible experience with A furniture company. Bobs furniture company about 6 months ago I brought a bed room set for my child's room it was not delivered until about 6 weeks after the expected delivery date. Now while my daughter was in bed it fell apart since it is still under warranty we called Bobs the sent some out who did not even have the information they needed to contact us he fill out a report then told the associate at the company that I refused to have work done in addition as her the associate it is not a manufacture defect so I would have to buy the parts to fix the bed how is this not a manufactures defect when the bed fell apart while my child was in my husband had to fix the bed and we still have to make the payments these are the worst quality furniture a in the world. I will definitely let my friends, family and anyone else I come in contact with never to buy Bobs furniture because the standards are beyond poor and they will only be throwing their money away

20 years ago bobs was great good quality good service good prices. now i cot an adjustable bed. after three defective beds they gave me my money back and i got a regular mattress which was delivered with a big rip in it. then i ordered a bunk bed. the first delivery person i quess didnt want to assemble it called the office and sait nobody was home and drove off as i stood in the driveway and watched him. the second attempt the delivery person said they dont assemble but if i give them cash they would help me put it together. the third attempt the bed had broken pieces. bob does not care about quality or service just growing.

Nope & I'm sorry to say I was looking to YOU for answers. We bought TWO memory foam mattresses from Bob's & are sick & tired of sleeping on the mattress covers because THERE ISN'T A SHEET THAT EXISTS WHICH STAYS ON THESE MATTRESSES!!

We feel so *** for buying them.

They're uncomfortable & cannot be returned because, since the sheets don't stay on, the mattress gets damaged. We're out $1500.

We're both disabled & cannot sleep on the beds (My husband & I take turns sleeping on the sofa.). -Most importantly, Bob's got away with this & continue to do so every day!

Furniture damage repair/replcement Policy is a rip off | Bobs Discount Furniture in Newington, Connecticut

I had problems and thought my policy was good only for a year. After talking to some people called the Newington CT store to see if my policy was in effect and it was. I told by the store to report all my issues because I hadn't realized my plan was still in effect. I asked about a twin bed I had also bought and they couldn't tell me if it was covered and told me to ask if it as covered when I called it in. First the policy is not Bob's it is handled by another company. When I called it in they wouldn't tell me if the bed was covered took all the info and reported it. when it was read back to me found they had entered incorrect info and was told it was to late to change it. They refused to let me talk to a supervisor. Then told me because I listed al the problems at the same time it was considered excesive wear and not covered when I tried to explain that I thought the policy had lapsed and the store told me to report the past issues and it that was the case I only wanted to report the current issue they said I couldn't change it. I called the store back 4 times talked to the manager he said someone would call me. no one ever did. When I called back again the manager was unavailable to talk to me.

Bob Furniture -Like Mafia and their warranty a fraud | Bobs Discount Furniture in Glastonbury, Connecticut

They call their warranty a "Goof Plan" seriously ! Bought a bunk bend for $599 in Newington, CT store in 2010 for my 10 yr.Knowing it was assembled in China, I should have known it is a POS but anyway took their warranty for $69.99. When i had problem, had 2 problems in 2 years, i had such a hard time reaching their customer care that i had make 5 trips to store and finally was directed to their warranty service partner Guardian. A tech came to my place and took just a minute to say that unit has to be replaced. This is where the fun begins and i saw the ugly side of Bob and the game they play..no where near the ad they ran on TV.Quite frankly having gone thru pain the ad you see on TV is utter fraud. Their store sales literally bullied when i was asking some basic questions ultimately forcing me to pay additional $100 to replace unit . I think i will take my business somehwere else.Sorry Bob no pun intended but you are another fraudster !!

I purchased a bed set for the time shopping at Bobs, I have a 5 yrs warranty, before getting the warranty the staff had explained to me any damage from anyone done to the furniture would be replaced no matter how it happened. Well, my daughter spilled nail polish on the foot board, I called for a replacement & now they won't replace it because according to them it was done on purpose.....this is the 1st & LAST time I go to Bobs....their service suck & they keep you on hold for ever!!!! I will pass the word on to everyone I kno, actually I will warn people not to ever shop at Bobs

so i order my bed to be delivered last friday..on my statement lists 2 phone numbers to reach me and a note saying to call me 1 hour before delivery which no one did not one phone call did i receive i had to call and get an automated service which sent me to the website to track my delivery...when they arrived it was only with my bed frame no mattress no box spring bec the driver said my mattress was damaged and dirty and he noticed it the night before when he was putting it on the truck and he didnt feel comfortable delivering it...wouldnt it stand to reason that i get a phone call explaining that? i havent received not one call and i have to call them..very unprofessional...and instead of delivering it immediately i gotta wait a whole other week for my bed....i think this is the last time i will be doing business with Bob's

In July we bought a bed and chest of drawers. It's now October and the bed has basically fallen apart. When we tried to get someone here to "fix it, we were told we'd have to wait two weeks. It seemed like they couldn't be bothered. They didn't even TRY to be sympathetic to the fact that we now had nothing to sleep on. We finally said we just wanted to return the items since the chest drawers also didn't close properly. The men that came to take the items back were not employees of Bobs. They are outside contractors. They were very nice and asked if we wanted them to try and fix the bed. They did and we decided to keep it. What a mistake!!! It has now fallen apart and our warrantee is up. We'd NEVER buy from Bobs again!

My boyfriend and I purchased a $1400.00 leather sectional about three weeks ago from bobs. Today his skinny adult brother came over and sat on the edge of the couch leaving the cushion foam inside deformed and looking totally ridiculous!! I knew we weren't getting top of the line furniture for the price we paid but comon' I didn't know I'd have to explain to people the proper way to sit on my couch to prevent deformity!

I had the same experience as the gentleman with the service issue. My sofa got damaged and even after having the Goof Proof warranty both Guardsman and Bob's refused to honor it.

Each one would say the other is responsible for the damage. I would not recommend Bob's furniture to anybody. Be aware.. Rip offs!!!!

I could not even get in touch with anybody in their corporate office. These sort of practices should be stopped.

A runaround with Bob's furniture | Bobs Discount Furniture in Wallingford, Connecticut

I purchased a bed from Bob's at the end of June. The bed's headboard was delivered damaged. Now after 4 rescheduled and cancelled replacement dates later, I am still waiting for a new headboard. Excuses were: the new headboard is also damaged or another headboard replacement will not be available until later in August... the new delivery date is set for August 27th. Each and every time I was called the morning of delivery with an excuse of why there would be no delivery. This morning I was called at 7:45am and told there was no head board available at the present. I certainly do not recommend shopping or buying at Bob's. First and last time for me. N.G.
