Update - I was contacted by Eric from Bob's customer service department. Eric took my information reviewed my account and I was issued a credit to purchase a new bed and have the old one removed. So the issue was resolved to my satifaction.

I purchased a bed 14 months ago, the frame is made of cheap compressed wood and the bed collapsed after 2 months. still under warrenty, replaced no problen.less than a year later it happened again!Both times, I literally just sat on the bed! This time I was 2 weeks outside of the warrenty, and basically told I was out of luck, dispite the fact I wrenched my back, and the produict is clearly defective, all I asked for was a metal bedframe to be made whole! Poor customer service, if anyone had this problem it may be time for a product recall or legal action.

Furniture defect | Bobs Discount Furniture in Warren Township, New Jersey

I bought a Montgomery Day bed from Bob's Furniture in North Plainfield 12/6/2012. The furnature was not used till April of this year for a 2 and 1/2 month tiem period. I determined the frame was split in 2 in 2 spots. I contact Customer service. A service tech came out yesdterday. Said nothing to my husband, and asked to use the phone. He indicated some codes and advised my husband the service department wanted to talk to him and than said good bye and walked out the door. My husband was told not a manufactoring defect. They will do nothing. I have never in my life had this kind of response from a furniture company, especially when a product is less than 6 months old. Why would you use such soft wood on a frame is beyond me, and with all the commercials as to Bob's having the best product and service. I am truly disappointed. Now I will have to have someone from the outside come in and reconstruct a frame that is not using sub-stand wood. This is not a good way to run a business. I am sure this complaint goes no where but I wanted to say it anyway. Thank you Pat

I agree and asked the same question! Why soft wood for a bed frame,I wish I had read the reviews before making my purchase. I had a $39 metal frame that lasted 17 years, the garbage bed I purchased from Bobs collapsed twice in a 14 months and I was basically told tough luck!

We had a brand new mattress, but because my husband was having back pain we though of purchasing a Bob O Pedic. but from the beginning my husband continue w/back pain. We purchased the bed a few months back and realize a few wks ago that we have bed bugs. When I called Bob they gave me the run around. Supposedly you can return bed no questions ask....Ha what a crock of lies...... But the kicker is when I called and more than once, the person who answered the ph. stated Bob's warehouse was so clean you can eat off the floor. So I guess she's telling me my house is dirty!!! Let you know bed bugs have nothing to do with a clean house....I'm maintain my home very clean.... I'm paying over $2500.00 to the bank and Bob's is refusing to assist us.... Do not purchase anything from them, who knows what else carries the nuisance little bugs.

I bought a beautiful Sleigh bed from BOBS DISCOUNT FURNITURE with protection from their GOOF PROOF n now that I have problem with the foundation of the bed n I been trying for over a month in a half to get results they giving me the runaround . The protection company say they dont cover that part of the bed that I have to deal with Bobs furniture n Bobs furnoture turns around n say that the protection is suppse to cover my bed. They surely didnt have problems taking my $ when I bought it! Never again will I b a customer !

Against better judgement,we bought a single bed for our son from BOBS in Orange CT.Thats all, pretty easy ,right? WRONG.Our delivery time was set for between 2:30 and 5:30 on a saturday.They finally deliverd at 9:00 pm! We did not receive ANY phone calls to inform us when they would get here or why they were late.When WE called them several times, nobody new anything about anything.REALLY? When they delivered the bed they brought the wrong bed slats.REALLY? A SIMPLE SINGLE BED !!! Now on a sunday morning we are trying to straighten this out.THEY DONT EVEN WANT TO REFUND OUR DELIVERY FEE !!! WHAT?!!! Nobody at bobs seems to know how to handle this.HOW SUPRISING!!! Now this morning they said they would return a call within a half an hour.An hour later...no call.So here we go!

About a year and a half ago I purchased the bob o pedic and right away we had problems with it! it was sinking and uncomfortable.The bed i also purchased was *** too! the foot post came off as well as a piece on the headboard. I called customer service and no one would ever get back to me. i went into the store that i purchased my furniture and was told that the manager was not there and that she would call me the next day. no call. i went in again and met the manager. i was then told that someone from corp would call me....no call! so i decided to call bob himself at corp office. I left a message on his voicemail and within 3 hrs i got a return call from his secratary. she was very sweet i must say. she said it was very unlike the bob o pedic to do that so she sent a new one and had the bed fixed. then about 4 months later the bed started to sink again and was indented on one of the corners that the delivery guy said was just from the cold and would go away. now my bf and i weigh around 185 each so there is no reason for this to happen again. i called again and was told i could go pick out a diff mattress i did and this will now be my 3rd time of *** bob beds! I cant remember the name of the mattress i got this last time but it not only is sinking to the point were the middle of the bed looks like a mountain but it is lumpy all over the bed. i feel like we havent had a good night sleep in a year. i even went out and got a down feather bed to try and help and it didnt it just made it all worse. Im not happy and am waiting for a returned call again. this time i just want my money back and will go some place else!

Bob O Pedic scam | Bobs Discount Furniture in Randolph, New Jersey

We purchased a bedroom set from Bobs and received it roughly 2 weeks ago. Truth be told., the furniture was okay, but the bed was terrible, very hard and uncomfortable. We called Bobs who, informed us that we HAD to keep the bed for 30 days! The sales guy never mentioned that we wold have to sleep on a prison bed for 30 days! They refuse to take it back unto the 30 days is up, then, we have to call for a return, pick another bed, (as it was part of a package) and wait for delivery.... We mentioned that we simply wanted a different bed and would be buying it from them, we just didn't want to sleep in this prison bed any longer....Suffice to say, we are in that bed now and will be for another 10 days.....

Do NOT buy furniture from Bob's-worthless. | Bobs Discount Furniture in Fairfield, New Jersey

Bought a trundell bed for our daughter last spring. Right before Christmas of this year, my other daughter sat on the bed and the frame broke. Technician came out (spoke almost no English), was referred to Goof Proof, denied and basicall have been told that there is nothing Bob's can do about it. My daughter was not jumping on the bed, she sat down (she is 13 and weighs 100 pounds). Bob furniture is TRASH. I wish I had listened to the reviews on this website before I walked into that store. I thought I would save a few bucks by buying at Bobs but it is not worth the hassle and frustration.
