I called Bobs store to claim some damage on the cover and they collected all the information and then they told me to call a different department. The other department didnt solve the problem either, they asked

Me bunch of questions and they told me that they would call me and I been waiting for more than 2 weeks

Poor service

When my original dining room set was delivered, there was damage. They said they would replace the table and have someone come out and fix the chairs.

A service person came to fix the chairs and he was literally here for two minutes saying that there wasnt anything wrong with the chairs and I had 30 days to let them know if I found anything else. Originally there were photos taken by the delivery people of where the damage was. Then they were supposed to replace the table and instead they came, and just replace the leaf. When I called about that, they told me they would give me another table.

But the person who came and replaced the leaf told my son that the tables are always damaged and Im not guaranteed. Im gonna get anything better than what I have. I dont feel that the customer service, or the service that was supposed to be done to my table and chairs was handled the correct way.

I finally decided to just cancel the new table and having anything repaired because I cant keep taking time off for them to not do the right thing. Its a shame because I already had picked out a bedroom set and a couch that I was going to be ordering in another month but since the service was so terrible, Im afraid to buy anything else

My automate loveseat (left side) would not work. I called Bob's, spoke to many super nice people, and today Omar, came & fixed the love seat. What a super nice gentlemen.

The guardian claims say they couldnt cover my broken box spring that came with the mattress and told me I have to reach out and have bobs cover it but cant figure out who to contact. So ridiculous if I pay for goof proof they should cover it. Im not happy.

Purchased furniture on 06/21 and their delivery people said it will not fit thru the door- in meantime I had bigger furniture delivered from them in the past year. As of now 09/06 I still did not receive my money back.

Customer service representatives should change careers and start writing fairy tales.

Manager named Sharon L was supposed to call me 2 weeks ago and I still didn't receive a call back neither did I het my money back. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere!

Lack of information regarding there so called Goof Proof protection plan.

When we purchased in November of last year, we where told about this protection plan and how and what it covers. NOT once was memtioned.

that we would have to pay taxes again and repurchase a protection plan or have to come up with delivery charge again.Contacted Goof Proof and told them it does not state that anywhere on our paperwork. And there answer was sorry it does on ours.Now tell me what kind of *** answer is that...

Preferred solution: Our furniture replaced like they said, with no additional costs. Has not even been a year.

Lever on recliner broke

The lever on our recliner broke from normal use. We have had it for 2/1/2 years and purchased the goof protection as well and the claim was denied.

I think its terrible for them not to cover the whole piece of furniture. Will not recommend or purchase anything from Bobs again.

Terrible furniture

The recliner/breaking apart, and it's not even worth my money very poor customer service Villa told a lot of lies and this company is full of crap, and it's not the company that I would ever come back to recommend anybody to ever come to this company. Get this company does not help you the way it supposed to be because of the service and my customers.

Cheap furniture- horrible website- terrible delivery time frames ( took 3 deliveries for furniture due to 2 broken items and one out of stock. Charged me for white glove services when clearly I should NOT have been do to how *** of a company they are and horrible customer service and support. Get your act together Bobs!

Total Incompetance

A few years ago I bought a couch with power recliners at Bob's. After a few days I noticed that SSfootrest on one side of the couch was bent.

I called and they sent someone out to look. He said it couldn't be fixed and that they would replace the couch, and they did. Great!

The other day the power recliners stopped working. I was out of warranty so I paid the $85 dollar fee to have someone come out and look at it.

He said the transformer was shot and he might be able to find a replacement for it. When he called the store they could not find a record of my purchase or the replacement that took place a few years earlier. They had no record of my purchase even though they had replaced the couch. They basically told me I was lying and had never purchased the couch from them and to go away!.

UNBELIEVABLE! So I'm stuck with a non-reclining recliner and no way to have it fixed.

Let the buyer beware, they are rude and can't be trusted.

Absence of service on extended warranty

The issue still is not resolved, but they claim they are returning in another week with the new transformer to fix the broken part that had only been in use for about six weeks. Today is March 4, 2023, and we first contacted the repair service in October 2022.

We purchased the extended warranty for around $800, with assurance from the sales rep that the warranty was nationwide. When we called for service, Bob claimed that they do not service in Florida, contrary to the associate. Guardian, the extended warranty company, said they dont service Bobs. We ended up calling Bobs in Connecticut, and we were on the phone with a representative there for 2.5 hours, going back and forth with his presenting one excuse after the other, finally saying that their policy changed and they no longer offer a company one year warranty an outright lie.

When I stated that legally, they could not change the contract that we purchased under and threatened legal action, he backed off and then agreed to have the parts sent to us, telling us to call when the parts come in. I am not optimistic because it has been lie after lie for months, but we will keep you posted.

And by the way, our original salesperson no longer works there.

Poor quality and even worst customer service.

I bought a Senoma kitchen Island with 4 stools on August of 2022. Delivery and set up was excellent.

The chair legs began to loosen and screws backing out. I called for service and was told someone would arrive between 7:30 and 9:30 am. No call- no show. Received text with new time 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

Again no call no show. Another text at 4:45 will arrive in 53 minutes. No call no-show again. Called customer service and was given a run around and told the tech was on his way.

No call no show again.

Phone rings with an excuse, truck broke down? Asked if I wanted to reschedule?

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. They are replacing damaged items and the customer service person was very nice.

I have had the same issue with broken furniture multiple times and each delivery I would call and same thing this time the customer service person explained everything clearly about white glove inspection and was helpful in rectifying the issue was treated more respectful this time

Financing and delivery issue

I went to Bob's Discount in Wauwatosa, WI back in September to shop for a bedroom set and living room sectional for my new apartment. I decided to see if I would qualify for their in store credit, but only was able to get the American Finance option.

I wished that I did some research on this finance company because I found out too little too late that their business practices are not desirable for consumers. They charged me up to 144% in interest on a bed set that cost $2700. I have to make bi-weekly payments (51 in total), if I am 1 day late they automatically go into collection. And I noticed that they set-up an auto payment option on my bank account without my authorization, which I quickly had them remove.

As far as the delivery of my items, on the 29th of October the delivery guys brought my sectional, bed headboard/footboard, slats and mattress. They never shipped my side rails for the bed. When I spoke with their customer service, I was told that I had to purchase the side rails again because it wasn't included with the initial purchase. So I bought the rails again.

They were suppose to deliver the missing item on the 1st of November. When the delivery guys arrived they were under the impression that the side rails were already here in my possession, I thought they had the item on their truck. This pissed me off. So I called customer service again and was told that it would be delivered the next day, that was a lie.

I called the next morning and was told that I wasn't scheduled for any delivery service that day, further pissed me off. I finally was able to get the side rails delivered and bed set up that Thursday. Mind you, I have been sleeping on either the floor or the couch for up to seven nights, and I work 3rd shift. They are quick to offer you a $25 gift card towards your next purchase at Bob's.

I told them that they can keep it because I will never shop there ever again, I will go to a competitor with my business in the future. And what really got me irritated is that I received an email which had a delivery invoice attached to it.

The invoice stated that I received all items and had what was supposed to be my signature. WTF???

Preferred solution: I would like for American Finance to allow me to my for the price of my bed once a month instead of bi-weekly. And remove that 144% finance rate. I can have this paid out within six months.
